Sea Level Rise on Coastal Cities
This interactive visualization demonstrates demonstrates the direct impact of certain environmentally friendly actions on sea level rise of major coastal cities. A user begins the experience by reading about environmental solutions similar to an article. The visualization is embedded as a supplemental device for learning.
Data Visualization Curriculum
With two teammembers, I created created this curriculum on data visualizations for high school students in San Francisco.
Anthropogenic CO2 Emissions
This simulation allows a user to adjust a few environmental factors of a city such as registered cars, trees, electiricy use and the percentage of energy coming from fossil fuels. A user is able to adjust one factor at a time to see the result is has on CO2 level, temperature and sea level rise. I built this project after writing a report for a class called Air Pollution and Global Warming: History, Science, and Solutions where I analyzed the Carbon Dioxide levels in California from 1950 to 2017.
Internship - Hidden villa
My internship at Hidden Villa, a nature preserve in Los Altos, was filled with learning from the environmental educators there and daily groups of students that visited.
Part-time work - GSE makery
At the Makery, I spent office hour shifts assisting others in utilizing the Makery tools.
